Biography:

Melvin has coached at the collegiate level for over 16 years and was named the Adidas/United Soccer Coaches, Coach Of The Year in 2008 for NAIA Men's Soccer.  He won the NAIA Men's National Championship with Bethel University (TN) in 2008.  Over 15 of his players have been selected to the NAIA Men's Soccer All-American Teams of which 2 were selected into the 2009 MLS Draft--Dwayne Smith and Mario Vila Boa.  Melvin is a High School teacher, with a Masters of Education Degree from Bethel University.  As a player, he was selected to the U-17 National Team Pool for Suriname-South America, and he played collegiate soccer at Oklahoma Wesleyan and Bethel University.
