Edgar started coaching with RISE in 2022 and he is very excited for the new opportunity. He was born and raised in Houston with a Mexican background and has been playing soccer all his life, Edgar grew up in a big soccer loving household. I have played for many major club teams here in Houston, as well as various clubs in Mexico such as Tigres and Necaxa. Coming into his first year of coaching with a completed grassroots license, currently pursuing a D license, and planning to pursue more licenses. He believes knowledge is power when it comes to coaching. Edgar would like to see himself further down the line coaching at the college level.
