Biography:

Mirko grew up playing soccer in Lima, Peru, developing as a player at Alianza Lima. He had a distinguished 18-year professional career before transitioning to coaching roles. In his 22 years of coaching experience, Mirko has coached with clubs in Corpus Christi and Houston and has led teams to multiple state and regional championships, as well as one national championship. Several of his former players are now playing at the professional level. Mirko enjoys coaching and developing young players as it gives him a chance to share his vast soccer knowledge and experience. Mirko is fluent in Spanish and English and speaks some Portuguese, and his favorite soccer slogan is “You play the way you train!”
