NEW HIRE - MEET CARLOS PARRA

Coaches are the key to player development. RISE SC boasts one of the most highly licensed coaching staffs in the nation. Like professionals in any industry, your player's probability for success increases with education. RISE SC is committed to developing our players by having the most talented and qualified coaches lead our players and oversee our program. We firmly believe that better coaches = better players. We have recently made a massive addition to our professional Coaching Staff to continue to help our young athletes reach their goals.

Carlos Parra– Girls Academy Coach
Licence: USSF A

Coach Carlos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Houston. He will join the RISE SC staff from Ginga SC where he served as the Technical Director and Director of Player Development. Over the last 20+ years Coach Carlos played on the U.S. U20 and U23 National teams, competing in the Youth World Championships with the U20s. He also played in Major League Soccer for the Colorado Rapids, New England Revolution, Miami Fusion and the New York/New Jersey Metrostars.

Coach Carlos previously served as Technical Director, Director of Girls Development Academy and ECNL Director in Atlanta and South Florida. Prior to that, Carlos spent many years in Atlanta as Executive Director of Coaching for Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association. Carlos has his USSF A and National Youth licenses.
