LIGHTNING DETECTION

RISE uses a commercial lightning detection system operated by Earth Networks to monitor for lightning near its fields. Coaches are alerted to lightning automatically.

South CAMPUS LIGHTNING ALERT

The current lightning status at South Campus is below. Green means that no lightning has been detected within the past 30 minutes within 10 miles of South Campus. If lightning has been detected within that timeframe and distance, the time remaining for an all-clear will be listed.
