Recreational Player Development Coaches

Time Commitment: Full-Time or Part-Time
Minimum License Required: USSF Grassroots, USSF E, or equivalent

Recreational Player Development Coaches are generally assigned to teams that have players that are looking to build and enhance their soccer skills. RISE SC expects Recreational Player Development Coaches to be energetic and engaging individuals who motivate our players to aspire to be the best they can. Recreational Player Development Coaches at RISE SC will be looking to grow within the game and continue to pursue their soccer education. The teams you coach as a Recreational Player Development (full time) Coach will train 2-3 times per week, have games on Saturday and/or Sunday, and compete in 2-4 events throughout the year. The teams at this level play in local leagues that require little travel. Part Time coaches have an abbreviated schedule.

Recreational Player Development Coaches are expected to perform at a level that ensures that RISE SC maintains an unparalleled player environment. Beginner Coaches must display a positive attitude and lead meaningful training sessions which are conducive to a professional learning environment. Recreational Player Development Coaches are expected to use their able communication and administrative skills to interact with players, parents, club administrators, and club leadership. Recreational Player Development Coaches will be educated in and expected to implement the RISE SC player development philosophy, methodology and curriculum.
