Heather is from Tampa, Florida and was a student athlete at Durant High School. She played on Florida’s State Olympic Development Program team for 5 years and made the Regional Pool team 3 out of the 5 years that I played. She played club soccer for Blackwatch Soccer Club where her team won two State Championships as U16 and U17 teams. Heather was a top 10 soccer recruit coming out of the State of Florida in 2003 and that’s what brought her to Houston! She played collegiately at the University of Houston where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. In college she realized that she was passionate not only about soccer, but also for fitness! Heather’s been coaching soccer and strength and conditioning since 2007. She’s also the girls varsity soccer Head Coach at Emery Weiner High School where in 2018 they made it to the final 8 and in 2019 they made it to the State semi-finals. She’s been coaching and making players sweat at RISE since 2016.
