Biography:

Coach Ospina is from Colombia. He played soccer for a Second Division team in his country and played five years in College in Colombia. As a coach, he has been a high school coach for 14 years, first as an assistant coach, and for the last eight years, he has been the head soccer coach at Westside High School. As a head soccer coach, his teams have made the playoffs for seven years in a row, and in 2017 his team was district champion. Coach Ospina was named coach of the year in his district for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018). In addition to coaching high school, he worked as a  club director for the Forsa soccer club (Katy location) for one year. His cooperative coaching style creates the right team environment where players feel welcomed, appreciated, and committed to working for common team goals.
