Biography:

I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and started playing club soccer at age 10. Initially, I was a field player, but my coach suggested that I transition to goalkeeper. Despite my initial hesitation, I embraced the advice and made the switch. I quickly realized that goalkeeping was a great fit for me and I was determined to make a career out of it. As a teenager, there were a lot of changes going on in my life. My mother passed away when I was 14, but soccer helped me stay positive, disciplined, and focused. At age 16 I played my first semi-professional game as a goalkeeper and went on to play for three different clubs in Sarajevo at that level. When I moved to Houston I wanted to coach youth players and RISE gave me the opportunity. I love what I do and I know that I am definitely the coolest coach at RISE.
