A Message from Inez Tenenbaum

Dear Friend:

I'm excited to introduce you to a new champion for public education in the state of South Carolina. RISE SC is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of South Carolinians through comprehensive and sustained reform of our public education system. Between now and November, 2010 RISE SC will be focusing on engaging the education community at the grassroots level.

Our state's current budget crisis has made the fight to protect our public schools even more crucial and, this year, key legislative issues will determine the future of public education. RISE SC will be working through our public schools and other education advocacy groups to ensure that educators are informed and participating in the legislative process.

I am writing to ask that you become a friend of RISE SC and join our efforts to move public education reform forward in South Carolina. We must have all the resources we need raised before April 2010 in order to and ensure grassroots support and impact the legislative policies that will advance education reform. By making a financial contribution, you will help to provide the support we need to bring about real education reform in South Carolina.
