Grassroots Support for Public Education

RISE SC will create an on-line community of public education supporters to facilitate their involvement and influence decision makers at all policy making levels by:

  • Providing comprehensive information and timely updates on education-related legislation
  • Creating a direct line of communication between public education supporters and lawmakers
  • Strengthening the relationship between the business and education communities
  • Conducting voter registration and education initiatives through our public schools
  • Galvanizing educators to build advocacy efforts on a school-by-school basis
  • Offering guidelines, tools and materials to support advocacy efforts of public education activists state-wide
